Attach the jack plate using the bolts provided in the jack plate mount kit. Tighten the bolts in place with the 3/4-inch wrench. 5 . d nuts on all bolts to secure them in place. 6 Lower and remove the lift and replace the cowl cover, locking it in place. Lower the lift and unhook the chain from the engine. 7 Remove the lift. Reinstall the cowl cover and lock it in place.1 Cut 2 half inch pieces from the heat s hrink tube. You will need to make a splice at the battery connector of the ESC, or speed controller. Using a razor knife cut away the old he at shrink tubing over the solder connections right against the speed controler's battery connector.
